Sydney Blair offers private coaching for performers of all ages in Los Angeles and virtually worldwide. With over 15 years of coaching experience, a BA in Theatre from the University of Southern California, and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Sydney brings both artistic expertise and a developmental perspective to her work with her students. 

 

As a working actor in theatre and television who began performing at a very early age, Sydney understands the craft of performance, the emotional challenges & rewards that can come with it, and the power of self-discovery through the arts. Whether your focus is developing skills towards a professional career in the arts or using theatre as a tool for personal growth (or anything in between!), Sydney tailors each session to meet the goals and interests of the individual student.

Sydney’s coaching focuses on helping students connect truthfully to the material, strengthen their skills, and develop the self-trust that allows them to take creative risks and enjoy the process.

In addition to her work as the founder of BLOOM, and private coaching, Sydney has worked as a director, choreographer, acting teacher, and dance teacher at The Lee Strasberg Institute (LA), Liza Monjauze Productions, Overland Avenue Elementary School, Walter Reed Middle School, Willows Community School, St. Mark School, Culver City Middle School, Wingspan Arts (NY), Camp Maor, Creative Space, & Kidville LA & NY.
